Cardlink, a member of Worldline, partnered with Visa to enhance the 2023 Burger Fest in Greece with cutting-edge self-service solutions. Utilizing advanced SK800 smart kiosks by PAX Technology, attendees enjoyed seamless ticketing, ordering, and payment experiences. The kiosks integrated ticketing and ordering applications, streamlined processes for over 5,000 visitors while offering secure and contactless payment options.
The cutting-edge PAX Technology SK800 unattended smart kiosks with Android software were installed at the festival which was held in Athens between 21-24 September and 28 September to 01 October. Using the all-in-one Cardlink Ticketing application designed for ticket issuance and management, visitors could select, pay for, and instantly receive their tickets, bypassing traditional queues. Thanks to this advanced solution, 5,000 Burger Fest attendees enjoyed a fast and innovative self-service process, enhancing convenience and efficiency.
At the same time, enhanced with advanced ordering application, the kiosks facilitated self-service orders for visitors. During the festival, burger enthusiasts could select their preferred drink or soft drink image, easily add items to their cart, pay with a Visa card in any preferred method, and receive their order confirmation to pick up their items at the festival bars.
The SK800 smart kiosks are user-friendly and support contactless payments via card, smartphone, or wearable devices, along with additional self-service functionalities.
